A true Libran star with a natural beauty since birth, Danette Lackesha Mahabeer professionally and better known as LADY GENIUS, has been rocking this signature style since the age of two.

 

This multi-talented, multi- faceted Jamaican gem is a past  student of The Garvey Maceo High School and Moneague College. Danette has a Degree in Communications, Hospitality and Tourism and  has over six years of experience as a professional Media Host/ Emcee, Singer/ Songwriter/ DJ, Creative Dancer and Model.  She has been modelling since high school. Thus holding the title as Miss Garvey Maceo High School Beauty Queen of 2002.

 

Miss Mahabeer has worked as an Entertainment Host/  Entertainment Cordinator and Planner at The Sandal Hotel Resorts and The Secret Montego Bay Hotel. She was nick-named Genius due to her quick-witted-ness, flexibility, versalitility and great initiative and expertise. Lady Genius is smart, edgy, creative and beautiful, and is ready for the future as her career in the entertainment industry takes her to higher heights.

 

On January 26, 2013 Lady Genius was the open night's performance appearing with Taddy P and The Blow Wow Band at The Annual International Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Trelawny. Sharing the stage with legendary and international Artistes like the soulful  and melodious Artiste AJ Brown, the thrilling Celine Deon, the jazzy John Legend, the authentic Mary J. Blige, and the great Deon Warwick to name a few.

 

On May 15, 2014, Lady Genius graced the stage of The Artistic Dimensions Show in Kingston, Jamaica before flying to Atlanta Georgia for her next appearance.
